In recent research, it has been confirmed that in normal human somatic cells that go through the cellular ageing process, this epithalon enhances their telomerase activity and produces an increase in telomere length.
Studies suggest that this epithalon acts on some of the cancer cells by the mechanism of ALT instead of telomerase, which is why it is thoroughly studied to make it clear how it can be used safely for humans.
